- A “Source changed” notice on the function sheet. The sheet is deliberately a snapshot: it is generated once from the event data and then keeps your notes and your sort order. If something moves afterwards — an item is dropped, a shift is reassigned, a schedule point shifts — it gave no sign. That is where real double-checking came from: you charge for two trips, the customer ends up bringing things back themselves, and quote and function sheet were written long ago. Now a notice appears above the sheet naming the affected sections — “Bookings”, or “Shifts, Bookings” — so it is immediately clear where to look.
- Updating stays your decision. Nothing is overwritten automatically. The notice points to Regenerate; only that click rebuilds the sheet from the current data, and the existing confirmation before manual changes are overwritten is unchanged. Until then the sheet stays exactly as you left it.
- Visible only to you. The notice is not on the printout, in the PDF or in the shared link — there the function sheet stays a clean working document for kitchen and service.
- Quiet, not chatty. The notice only speaks up for real content changes. Opening a sheet and saving it without a change does not trigger it, and neither do the same entries in a different order.
Function sheets created before this change have no basis for comparison yet and show no notice at first. The next Regenerate brings them in.
