- Signed quotes and delivery notes as a signed PDF. As soon as a quote or a delivery note is signed, a signed PDF is created automatically: the original document unchanged, followed by a page listing the signatures (signature image or typed name, signer, time, device details and the consent text the customer read) and a page with the document history including a checksum. Your customer gets it right after signing, as a download in the customer portal and as an attachment to the confirmation email; you can switch that attachment off under Settings → Documents with “Attach signed quote to confirmation email”. In the back office the “Signed PDF” link sits on the document card and inside the document itself, and the card menu offers “Regenerate signed PDF”. Documents that have no PDF yet get a standalone signature record with the same two pages instead.
- The public verification page now covers documents and order confirmations. Enter the checksum from a signed PDF at univents.app/verify and you can see, without a login and without an account, which document it is, who issued it and when it was signed. Until now the page only found contracts.
- Order confirmation from an accepted quote. Once a quote is accepted, “Create order confirmation” turns it into a document of its own: its own number from the “AB” number range (adjustable under Settings → Documents → Number ranges), your usual layout with all line items and totals, an opening and closing text with placeholders, and the accepted quote attached — in its signed version where one exists. If you like, it goes out to the customer by email in the same step; you can adjust the wording under Email templates in “Order confirmation”. An order confirmation confirms the quote exactly as it was accepted: if something has changed since, create a new version of the quote first and have it accepted.
Fixed
- Confirmation email after signing online. The email to the customer was not sent reliably when the page was closed shortly after signing. It now gets through every time.
- Consent text in the signature record. The text stored with a signature now matches word for word what the customer read in the signing dialog — same language, same amount, including the checkbox confirmation sentence.
- Contract PDF: names with umlauts and special characters. Signer names such as “Zoë Müller-Öztürk” are now printed correctly in the contract PDF instead of losing characters, and the device details line is legible again.
